Manchester United midfielder Ander Herrera has sent a message to his teammates that Eden Hazard and Willian must be stopped if they are to win todays FA Cup final.

The two Premier League giants have had difficult seasons in the league, with United finishing 19 points behind their rivals Man City, and Chelsea missing out on the top four altogether.

They also had disappointing campaigns in the UEFA Champions League, both getting eliminated in the round of the last 16, meaning that the FA Cup represents their only chance of silverware.

While United go into the game as slight favourites, Herrera has warned that Eden Hazard and Willian are the dangermen for the Blues.

“If you talk to the Crystal Palace manager before the game, he will tell you [that Hazard is the danger man],” he told Graham Hunter’s ‘The Big Interview’ Podcast.

“If you speak to [Barcelona boss] Ernesto Valverde before the [Champions League] game at Stamford Bridge, he will have told you ‘Hazard, we have to stop him and we have to try to stop him from receiving the ball too many times.’

“It is not something new, it is something that everybody knows.

“If you are playing against Real Madrid, you have to try to ensure that Modric doesn’t feel good on the ball. If you play against Man City, you have to try to ensure Silva or De Bruyne doesn’t receive the ball easy.

“Against Chelsea, you know that Hazard and Willian are key players for them.”

Herrera also claimed that Eden Hazard is the best player in the Premier League.
