Hernandez reveals he’s ‘enjoying’ his football again with West Ham

West Ham striker Javier Hernandez says he is ‘enjoying’ his football again after being given a regular run in Manuel Pellegrini’s side.

Having struggled for game time earlier in the season, Hernandez scored in West Ham’s 3-2 win over Crystal Palace on Saturday, his third Premier League goal in as many matches.

Now back in the first-team picture, the Mexican international admits he is enjoying his football at The London Stadium.

‘I’m trying my best – I’m enjoying playing football, that’s what I love most and thankfully the points and goals are coming as well. Hopefully this run keeps going.’ Hernandez told the press after yesterday’s win.

‘Getting the three points was the most important thing and we must keep going now. We have a full week until our next game against Fulham and that’s a good thing as we can recover properly and work very hard ahead of that one.’

West Ham next travel to Craven Cottage to play Fulham on Saturday looking for their fourth consecutive Premier League win.
