Arsenal legend Thierry Henry is said to be undecided on his future amid speculation linking him with the vacant job at Aston Villa.
The Frenchman was heavily linked with the second-city club back in the summer as the club was bought out by Nassef Sawiris, however, the Egyptian businessman opted to stick with Steve Bruce, who had guided the Villains to the Championship playoff final.
Bruce has been a divisive figure at Villa Park ever since he took over at the club almost two years ago to the day, with his defensive style of play not being to the liking of the club support, despite him taking them to within 90 minutes of a return to the Premier League.
Bruce was relieved of his duties last week after winning just one of his last 10 games in charge, with current Belgium assistant manager and Arsenal legend Thierry Henry once again one of the front-runners to take charge, with former Chelsea captain John Terry potentially returning to the club as his assistant.
However, according to Sky Sports, for who the Frenchman has close ties having previously been one of their pundits, Henry is claimed to be ‘undecided’ regarding his own future.
Aston Villa are hoping to have their new manager in place for their next Championship fixture against Swansea on October 20.
