Eden Hazard has revealed that although Chelsea have gone under the radar a little when people have been discussing who will win the Premier League this season, he very much believes that the Blues can challenge for the title.
Despite finishing in a disappointing fifth place in the League last season and missing out on Champions League qualification, Chelsea have made a fantastic start to this campaign, winning all four of their opening fixtures.
Speaking after his sides latest win – a 2-0 defeat of Bournemouth at Stamford Bridge last Saturday – Hazard admitted that he and his teammates have ambitions on lifting that famous Premier League trophy for the third time in six seasons at the end of this campaign.
“We are a little bit in the shadow,” Hazard told ChelseaTV.
“That is good. We just try to do our job, win games and then we will see. Of course, I believe we can challenge, especially in the Premier League, as you never know what is going to happen.
“We want to be champions, even if we know it is going to be hard because City, Liverpool and Tottenham are very strong. We will see at the end but we want to be on the top.”
