Chelsea continued their excellent start to life under new coach Maurizio Sarri when they defeated Bournemouth 2-0 at Stamford Bridge on Saturday.
The Blues victory over Eddie Howe’s Cherries sees the Stamford Bridge outfit maintain their 100% record in the Premier League and means they keep pace at the top of the table with Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool and surprise package Watford.
One man who is clearly enjoying his football under Sarri is Chelsea’s star attacker Eden Hazard who scored his second goal of the season against Bournemouth at the weekend, with the Belgium international having started the campaign in the type of red-hot form he showed for Belgium at the World Cup in Russia this summer.
Speaking after his sides latest game, Hazard admitted that he is full of confidence as he enters his seventh season as a Chelsea player.
“After a great World Cup, I am keeping going the same way,” Hazard told Chelsea’s official website.
“I’m confident and just enjoying playing, so I am at a good level. I’m confident, we have a lot of good players and a new manager – everything is going well.”
