Eidur Gudjohnsen has said that ‘Chelsea look like a better team’ when Callum Hudson-Odoi plays.
The winger is one of the hottest properties in European football right now after enjoying a breakthrough campaign at Stamford Bridge this term.
He was heavily linked with a big-money move to Bayern Munich back in January and has since attracted the attentions of Manchester United, with the youngster only having just over a year remaining on his current deal.
However, despite only actually starting one Premier League game, former Chelsea striker Eidur Gudjohsen has been left massively impressed by the 18-year-old, who has already been capped twice by England.
“As a young player coming through, you have to take your chances and use the opportunities well,” Gudjohnsen told Talksport.
“Every time he’s been given a chance, he’s shown that he’s got the qualities, tremendous quality.
“You do always feel that with Hudson-Odoi on the pitch, Chelsea look like a better team.
“He’s young, he’s got time but he’s shown that he’s ready and we would love to see a talent like that on the pitch even more.”
The youngster could be offered another start in Chelsea’s Monday Night clash against West Ham, with Maurizio Sarri suggesting that he could rotate his side.
