Pep Guardiola believes Manchester City must win all five of their remaining fixtures to retain their Premier League title.
City beat Crystal Palace 3-1 on Sunday to temporarily go back to the top, though Liverpool’s 2-0 win over Chelsea saw them regain their two point lead at the division’s summit.
Guardiola’s side have played a game fewer than the Merseyside club, however the Spaniard feels his side must be flawless in the run-in if they are to pip their rivals to the title.
“It was really good, after Tuesday when we suffered a bit it was an incredible performance,” Guardiola told his BBC’s MOTD.
”There’s five games left, it’s in our hands but if we just drop one or two points we won’t be champions so we have to win all our games.
“This pressure is incredible. We are fighting to be champions back to back. In two seasons we’ve got 183 points with five games left. We’ve won two titles (Community Shield) and now it’s the FA Cup final.
