Fulham travel to the Coventry Building Society Arena on Saturday afternoon looking to build on their first Premier League win under Alvaro Arbeloa.
Fulham are 19th in the table with five points from seven matches, one place and one point behind Saturday’s hosts. Arbeloa’s side beat Hull City 1-0 at Craven Cottage last weekend to register their maiden league win of the campaign, despite finishing the match with 10 men after Ryan Sessegnon’s late dismissal.
Fulham team news
Sessegnon is suspended for the trip to Coventry following his red card against Hull, with Antonee Robinson continuing at left-back in his place. Hugo Larsson remains a doubt with a groin problem that Arbeloa said needed further assessment, and his involvement awaits a fresh update closer to kick-off. Tom Cairney made his first appearance of the season as a substitute against Hull after recovering from injury, but a return to the starting lineup is not expected this weekend.
David Affengruber is set to continue at centre-back in place of Joachim Andersen, with Fulham’s defence improving markedly since the change, conceding seven goals in the first three matches of the season but just three in the four since. Sander Berge and Shea Charles look settled as the central midfield pair, while Oscar Bobb, Josh King and Alex Iwobi, who scored the winner against Hull, remain Arbeloa’s first-choice attacking trio. Gonzalo García is expected to lead the line again, with Rodrigo Muniz the alternative if Arbeloa opts for a change up front.
Fulham predicted lineup
Fulham possible starting XI (4-2-3-1): Leno; Castagne, Affengruber, Bassey, Robinson; Berge, Charles; Bobb, King, Iwobi; Garcia
