Premier League quartet plot Wilfried Zaha swoop

Fulham, Everton, West Ham and Wolves are all interested in bringing Galatasaray winger Wilfried Zaha back to the Premier League.

Zaha signed for Galatasaray on a free transfer from Crystal Palace last summer with the 31-year-old departing the Premier League to fulfil his ambitions of competing in European competition.

The Ivorian has had a mixed time in Turkish football to date with Galatasaray having crashed out of the Champions League in the group stage, before exiting the Europa League to Sparta Prague after a second-leg collapse last month.

Zaha has struggled to cement an automatic role in Okan Buruk’s team despite a healthy return of goals, with the winger having scored nine goals in just 12 Süper Lig starts and a further 11 substitute appearances.

Turkish journalist Ekrem Konur has confirmed that a quartet of Premier League clubs are monitoring Zaha’s situation in Istanbul ahead of a potential move to bring him back to English football.

Zaha scored 90 goals in 458 appearances for Crystal Palace across two spells after coming through the academy system in South London, with his time with the Eagles coming either side of a short-lived move to Manchester United.

He was omitted from the Ivorian squad for the Africa Cup of Nations earlier this year by their French manager Jean-Louis Gasset, as The Elephants went on to win the tournament on home soil.
