The Fantasy Faithful podcast: What we’ve learned from the first four weeks of FPL

We are a month into the 2020/21 Fantasy Premier League campaign and we’re left with more questions than answers.

Which teams are actually good? Why have Chelsea, Man City and Man United been so disappointing so far? How in God’s name did Liverpool lose 7-2 to Aston Villa? Does any of it even matter anymore?

To try and answer some of these conundrums and more, we drafted in a very special guest in the form of FPL expert Andrew Ferguson, writer and podcast presenter over at Fantasy Football Hub, to join Ste McGovern on this week’s show.

Listen to The Fantasy Faithful podcast now:

Giving a broad overview of the first four matchdays of the Premier League, we looked at the madness of gameweek four, tried to make sense of the season up to now, and admitted our biggest regrets and mistakes.

We also chatted about the things we were most wrong about in preseason, the deadline day transfers that might affect FPL, and how we can possibly strategize for the future in this weird world of fantasy football with some tips and advice for the weeks ahead.
