Everton name their terms for Spurs target Digne

Everton will reportedly demand Danny Rose plus cash from Champions League finalists Tottenham for Lucas Digne.

Tottenham are interested in signing the left-back this summer, who shone for Marco Silva’s side last season winning the club’s Player of the Year award.

The Frenchman’s performances have attracted the attention of Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino, who will have money to spend this summer after a frustrating period in the transfer market as the club moved into their new stadium.

According to the Star, Everton will demand England international Rose in part-exchange, as well as a fee for a player who cost £18m from Barcelona only one year ago.

The 25-year-old scored four goals and provided a further four assists in his debut season and Goodison Park, with Everton reportedly unwilling to part with the player easily.

Rose returned to favour under Pochettino last season, making 26 league appearances, however, the 28-year-old has previously spoken of his desire to play for a northern team to be closer to his family.

Whether Spurs, who are expected to be busy in the transfer market this summer, are willing to meet Everton’s steep demands remains to be seen.
