Unai Emery has urged Arsenal to be ‘positive’ as they prepare to face off against Liverpool in a huge top six tie this weekend.
The Gunners travel to Anfield to face the Champions League winners on Saturday evening, with the both sides beginning the new Premier League season with back-to-back wins.
A Roberto Firmino hat-trick saw Liverpool thrash the North London outfit 5-1 in the corresponding fixture last season, and Emery has called on his side to be “positive” as they bid to maintain their impressive start to the new season.
“We are going to prepare first with the adaptation to them, their game plan and individual players and after to impose our game plan and capacity,” Emery told the press after Arsenal‘s 2-1 win over Burnley.
“We are going to prepare both defensively and offensively.
“I think first is to be positive in our capacity and then work hard. I know my past is to work hard, the present and future is going to be the same.
“After we can win, we can lose. But above all is be positive and keep moving ahead.”
