Arsenal manager Unai Emery praised his players after their dramatic late win over Cardiff City earlier today.
The Gunners twice took the lead through Shkodran Mustafi and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang but were on each occasion pegged back by Neil Warnock’s side with Victor Camarasa and Danny Ward striking for the hosts.
However, Alexandre Lacazetete, who was making his first start of the season and was excellent throughout, blasted home from inside the box with 10 minutes to go to secure Arsenal’s second Premier League win on the trot.
Speaking after the game Emery was happy with his sides reaction to twice conceding an equalizer and also praised his sides ability to control the game.
“The reaction is very important. The reaction was very good. We were calm,” he told a post match press conference.
“The most important thing is to be calm and to continue working. We controlled the match for 70 per cent of the 90 minutes.
