Everton have completed the £7.1million signing of Idrissa Gueye from Aston Villa.
He becomes just the second signing of the summer for Ronald Koeman after the arrival of Maarten Stekelenburg, who arrived from Fulham last month.
Everton activated a £7.1million release clause for the midfielder, who has signed a four year deal, with the option of extending for a fifth year.
He moved to Villa Park last summer, but was unable to prevent the clubs relegation to the Championship in what was a dismal season for the Midlands club.
West Ham had been linked with making a late move to hijack his move to Goodison Park, but the midfielder rejected the chance to join the Hammers.
