Crystal Palace XI vs Brighton – Predicted lineup and team news

Crystal Palace visit Brighton at the American Express Community Stadium on Sunday afternoon on seven points from six league games, looking for consecutive league wins for the first time since December 2025.

Crystal Palace visit Brighton at the American Express Community Stadium on Sunday afternoon on seven points from six league games, looking for consecutive league wins for the first time since December 2025.

Pierre Sage’s side beat Nottingham Forest 3-1 at Selhurst Park last Sunday, then lost 3-2 at Lyon, Sage’s former club, in the Europa League on Thursday. Yeremy Pino has scored in both games. Palace are unbeaten in their last four meetings with Brighton (W3 D1), including a 1-0 win at the Amex in February, when Ismaila Sarr scored the only goal. Brighton have not beaten Palace since February 2024.

Crystal Palace team news

Chadi Riad (knee) is out for the season and Axel Disasi serves the final match of his suspension for a red card against Ipswich Town. Dean Henderson (foot), Jean-Philippe Mateta, Takehiro Tomiyasu (calf) and Ben Chilwell (knee) are doubtful. Sage said before the Forest game that he expected Henderson, Mateta and Tomiyasu back for Lyon or Brighton, but Mateta and Tomiyasu are unlikely to start.

Captain Henderson is targeting a return after a foot injury that has kept him out since early September, and would replace Walter Benitez in goal. Jorgen Strand Larsen is likely to lead the line again with Mateta short of fitness, and Jefferson Lerma should keep his place at centre-back alongside Chris Richards and Jaydee Canvot after the Forest win.

Yeremy Pino is expected to start behind Strand Larsen, with Daichi Kamada and Ismaila Sarr, who is back from injury, competing for the remaining attacking place. Anan Khalaili, Adam Wharton and Tyrick Mitchell are among those expected to start.

Crystal Palace predicted lineup

Crystal Palace possible starting XI: Henderson; Lerma, Richards, Canvot; Khalaili, Timber, Wharton, Mitchell; Kamada, Pino, Strand Larsen
