Chelsea's Callum Hudson-Odoi

Chelsea’s Willian says Hudson-Odoi is ‘going nowhere’

Chelsea winger Willian thinks that Callum Hudson-Odoi is ‘going nowhere’ and will remain at Stamford Bridge.

Hudson-Odoi has been one of the most talked about players in Europe this month, with Bayern Munich tabling a number of bids to take him to the Allianz Arena, despite him never starting a Premier League match.

The latest bid is believed to be worth around £35 million, with the 18-year-old thought to have handed in a transfer request in order to try to secure a move to the Bundesliga.

He scored the second of Chelsea‘s three goals in Sunday’s FA Cup win over Sheffield Wednesday, with Willian netting the other two, and now, the Brazil international has tipped the talented 18-year-old to stay with at the West London club.

“He’s going nowhere – he’s a special talent, a very good player and is staying with us,” Willian told Sky Sports.

“Of course he is only 18 but he can improve a lot and in the future can become one of the best players in the world.

“It’s difficult not to think about Bayern Munich because they are a great team as well but for me, his future is here.

“He has to stay because he knows the club, and I am sure he will play more.”
