Chelsea attacker Callum Hudson-Odoi has handed in a transfer request as he looks to push through a move to Bundesliga side Bayern Munich this month.
The German giants are determined to sign the talented 18-year-old and have made four bids to secure his services since the transfer window opened, with the last believed to be worth £35 million.
However, Chelsea have rebuffed all advances so far and have offered Hudson-Odoi a new long-term contract worth a reported £85,000-a-week to keep him at Stamford Bridge.
The England youth international has turned down the offer to sign a new deal with the West London club, and according to Sky Sports he has now made it crystal clear that he wants to leave Chelsea and join Bayern after handing in a transfer request.
Hudson-Odoi has only featured three times for the Blues in the Premier League this season, with all of those outings coming from the substitutes bench, and a concern over a lack of game time is said to be major factor in his desire to move away from his boyhood club.
Watching his former England U17 teammate, Jadon Sancho, thriving in the Bundesliga after deciding to leave Manchester City last summer is also thought to be playing a role in Hudson-Odoi’s desire to move to Germany.
