Chelsea have unveiled their new third kit for the 2024/25 season with the strip taking inspiration from punk rock.
The kit, which was debuted by Chelsea Women in a pre-season fixture with Arsenal in the United States on Sunday, is black-based design with ‘clashing punk patterns’ and illuminous pink and yellow detailing. The Nike swoosh is doubled up and vertically placed on the design.
Chelsea have said the kit is based on the ‘punk rock explosion’ that was born in Chelsea five decades ago, calling it ‘an attitude that shook west London and the world five decades ago. Still alive today’.
“Born in Chelsea, punk was all about youth, trailblazing energy and standing out – being not like anybody else. It’s part of who we are,” the club state.
It will be available for purchase on Tuesday 27th August 2024.
