Chelsea tell Hudson-Odoi he won’t be sold this month

Callum Hudson-Odoi’s transfer request was rejected by Chelsea amid interest from Bayern Munich, who are willing to pay £35 million for the winger.

The Premier League club have told the 18-year-old he is going nowhere in the hope that they can keep hold of the young sensation, according to the Guardian.

The teenage winger has been frustrated by his lack of minutes for the Blues, featuring mostly in cup and Europa League fixtures this season, and is trying to engineer a move away from Stamford Bridge.

The Bundesliga champions have been attempting to lure Hudson-Odoi away before Thursday’s transfer deadline with the promise of more game time, but Chelsea are determined to keep him at the club until the summer at the very least.

Following Chelsea’s 3-0 win over Sheffield Wednesday in the FA Cup fourth round, Hudson-Odoi said he did not know whether or not it was his last game for the club.
