Chelsea and Manchester United have reportedly been offered the chance to sign Myles-Lewis Skelly from Arsenal in the summer transfer window.
The versatile youngster is being linked with a move away from the Emirates Stadium despite signing a contract extension last year.
The 19-year-old seldom featured for the Gunners last season, making just 19 starts in total, but made key contributions towards the end of the campaign as the club won the Premier League title and reached the final of the UEFA Champions League.
Chelsea and Man Utd ‘offered’ Arsenal transfer opportunity
According to football.london, both Chelsea and United have been “offered the opportunity” to sign Lewis-Skelly from Arsenal.
The north London outfit “could be tempted into selling” the midfielder, who also play at full-back, after signing Bruno Guimaraes from Newcastle United for £75 million last week.
The teenager has been on Chelsea’s radar “for a while”, though it’s not clear if they will make a move in this window having already signed ten new players this summer.
United have reportedly considered signing another midfielder after capturing Youri Tielemans from Aston Villa and Andrey Santos from Chelsea.
Arsenal would “find it very hard” to turn down a “good offer” for Lewis-Skelly if they were to receive one.
