Chelsea look set to end talented youngster, Lewis Baker’s spell at Leeds United, with the midfielder struggling to make an impact with The Championship leaders.
Baker, who signed a five deal with his parent club in August 2017 had been widely tipped to do well under Marcelo Bielsa at Leeds United this season.
However, after featuring just 12 times in all competitions, Hull Live are reporting that Chelsea are ready to a recall him.
The England youth international is likely go straight back out on loan, with The Stamford Bridge club, keen to give their academy graduate regular first team football at a decent level.
A failure to make an impact at Leeds, following a disappointing season at Middlesbrough, will be seen as a major set back for the midfielder.
After a promising couple of years on loan in the Eredivisie with Vitesse Arnhem, Baker will hope he can find a suitable club to reignite his career in 2019.
