Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri has confirmed that midfield playmaker Cesc Fabregas is the only player he is unable to select ahead of his sides Premier League clash against Bournemouth tomorrow at Stamford Bridge.
Sarri confirmed that the former Arsenal and Barcelona man is still suffering the effects of a knee injury and is currently unable to train with his teammates.
“The situation is the same. Cesc is still out, actually, he is working in water. We hope next week he will be able to work on the pitch,” Sarri told a pre-match press conference.
“I am sure that the injury is not serious, but he has pain out of the knee. It is a bit strange but nothing serious, but the pain is still there. He is only able to run in water.”
Chelsea will be aiming to maintain their 100% record so far this season in the Premier League when Eddie Howe’s Cherries visit West London tomorrow afternoon.
