The draw for the Champions League quarter and semi-finals have been made, and there was a heavy English interest in the competition.
The Premier League had four representatives in today’s draw for the first time since 2009, with Manchester City and Liverpool this week joining Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United in the last eight.
Manchester United overcame all odds, not only to beat PSG over two legs, but overcoming a 2-0 home deficit to edge through on away goals. They had the prospect of facing two of their greatest rivals, Liverpool or Man City, who both knocked out German opposition in the shape of Bayern Munich and Schalke respectively.
Spurs also dumped out a German club, comfortably beating Borussia Dortmund over two legs, with their last eight fixture set to be back at their new White Hart Lane stadium.
Elsewhere, Ajax incredibly beat Real Madrid, while Barcelona, Juventus and Porto completed the last eight lineup.
