Celtic travel to Bayern Munich tonight aiming to reach the Champions League’s last 16 for the first time since 2012/13.
A narrow defeat on home soil leaves Celtic with hope, though the Scottish champions face a tough task against the German giants.
Brendan Rodgers’ side have failed to win on the road in Europe this season, while their last trip to Germany ended in a 7-1 defeat at Borussia Dortmund in October.

That result was an anomaly in an otherwise encouraging European campaign, however, and Daizen Maeda’s late goal at Celtic Park provides hope after Bayern led 2-0 through Michael Olise and Harry Kane.
However, Bayern have won all four home fixtures in this season’s competition, scoring 14 goals and conceding just three.
