Celtic are close to completing the loan signing of 18-year-old striker Timothy Weah from PSG.
Hoops boss Brendan Rodgers has made no secret of the fact that to increase his options up front, with Odsonne Edouard currently his sides only recognised striker.
Weah is the son of former Ballon d’Or winner and current president of George Weah and has eight senior caps for the USA.
The young forward is highly-rated by PSG having already made five appearances for their star studded side, although he is eager to go out on loan to secure more regular first-team football.
Sky Sports are reporting that a loan deal until the end of the season is now close. Weah will become Celtic’s second capture of the transfer window after they also secured a loan deal for Scotland international Oliver Burke from West Brom, while the club have also seen a bid rejected by Slovakian side Dunajska Streda for striker Vakoun Issouf Bayo
