Fabian Hürzeler has received a positive fitness update ahead of the trip to Merseyside, confirming that midfielder Carlos Baleba and the versatile Jack Hinshelwood are both fully fit and available for selection.

However, the team will be without long-term absentees Adam Webster (knee) and Solly March (knee). New summer signing Tom Watson is also a major doubt for the match. Uncertainty continues to surround the future of Julio Enciso amid transfer speculation, although Hürzeler remains “very confident” that key playmaker Matt O’Riley will stay at the club.
