Ruben Loftus-Cheek says he has ‘no reason’ to think about leaving Chelsea.
The 23-year-old has made 38 appearances for the club in all competitions this season, scoring nine goals, though has been restricted to just five league starts.
Speculation had emerged that the midfielder could consider leaving Stamford Bridge this season, as he looks to earn regular first-team football.
Despite a lack of game time in the Premier League this season, academy graduate Loftus-Cheek insists he remains happy in West London and has not plans to move on.
“I’m not sure, I let my agent deal with it. I’m not thinking about that right now,” the England midfielder told the media in a pre-match press conference.
“It’s important for me to focus on the here and now, and I’m playing right now. It’s looking good so there’s no reason why I should think about leaving Chelsea.”
Loftus-Cheek has featured regularly during the club’s European campaign this season, and will be hoping to start as Chelsea host German side Eintracht Frankfurt in the second leg of their Europa League semi-final on Thursday night.
