Manchester United, Arsenal and Tottenham’s hopes of landing Bordeaux winger Malcom have been dealt a blow with the news that Bayern Munich have opened talks with his representatives.
The future of the 20-year-old was one of the most talked about stories of the January transfer window, with a whole host of Premier League clubs interested in his services, including Arsenal, Spurs and Man Utd.
However, despite all of the interest in their winger, Bordeaux were reluctant to sell, preferring to keep him for the rest of the season.
The Brazilian is still under contract until 2021, but has recently suggested that he has an agreement to finally leave the club in the summer transfer window.
Now, according to Bild, his agent has established contact with Bayern, as they looked to sign the Ligue 1 starlet.
Bordeaux value Malcom at £52million, but Spurs moved to sign Lucas Moura in January for less than half that price from Paris Saint-Germain. Manchester United meanwhile signed Alexis Sanchez from Arsenal with Henrikh Mkhitaryan moving in the opposite direction to the Emirates.
