Arsenal return to the Emirates on Saturday for the first time in more than a month, with Leeds United the visitors at 12:30 BST.
The champions are second in the Premier League on 12 points, three behind leaders Manchester City. Leeds have not beaten Arsenal since May 2003, and Arsenal won both league meetings last season by an aggregate score of 9-0.
Arsenal team news
William Saliba (back) is still out and yet to play this season, while Christos Tzolis (hamstring) is also ruled out after being injured on Greece duty. Kai Havertz is out after being hurt on Germany duty and returning to the club for assessment, and Max Dowman is unavailable with an impact injury picked up with England’s Under-19s. Declan Rice withdrew from England’s squad but is only a minor doubt, with no major concern over his availability.
Ezri Konsa (thigh) is a major doubt after leaving the England camp for treatment, although Thomas Tuchel played down the severity, and Ben White (groin) and Cristhian Mosquera (thigh) must prove their fitness in training. Konsa’s issue presents Arteta with a dilemma on the right side of defence, although he, White and Mosquera may all return in time.
Bukayo Saka and Martin Ødegaard are fit and expected to start. Rice is set to return in midfield if cleared by the medical staff, alongside Myles Lewis-Skelly rather than Bruno Guimaraes, who made his full debut in the defeat at Brighton. With Tzolis and Havertz out, Eberechi Eze and Viktor Gyökeres are expected to start in the final third, Gyökeres having scored four times during the international break. Konsa is still expected to partner Gabriel in central defence, with Jurrien Timber and Riccardo Calafiori at full-back and David Raya in goal.
Arsenal predicted lineup
Arsenal possible starting XI: Raya; Timber, Konsa, Gabriel, Calafiori; Rice, Lewis-Skelly; Saka, Ødegaard, Eze; Gyökeres
