Mikel Arteta has named his Arsenal team to face Manchester City in the Community Shield.
The Gunners take on Manchester City at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff this afternoon, with each side aiming to take the first silverware of the campaign,
Arteta has named a strong side for the clash, which includes debuts for summer signings Bruno Guimaraes and Christos Tzolis. The former features in midfield alongside Myles Lewis-Skelly and Martin Odegaard, with Tzolis operating from the left-wing.
Kai Havertz starts at centre-forward ahead of Viktor Gyokeres, while Declan Rice, Ebrechi Eze, Bukayo Saka, Mikel Merino and Martin Zubimendi are all on the bench after late returns from the World Cup.
