Arsenal’s Rob Holding admits he is looking forward to testing himself against Harry Kane when Tottenham visit The Emirates in this weekend’s North London derby.
The Gunners host neighbours Spurs knowing a win will take them above their fierce rivals and into the top four in the race for Champions League qualification.
23-year-old defender Holding, who has been a regular so far this season, is looking forward to the derby atmosphere and is relishing testing himself against England captain Kane, who has scored seven league goals in 13 appearances this season.
“I don’t know, he scores goals, doesn’t he? If he doesn’t score a goal, I’ll be happy.’’ Holidng told reporters ahead of the game.
“It’s one I’m looking forward to. I’ve been on the bench against Tottenham at White Hart Lane in my first year (at Arsenal). It was a good experience the first time, especially away at White Hart Lane.
“Their crowd was up and our fans were giving it some. It seemed like a hot atmosphere to play in so I’m looking forward to that. I’m looking forward to going up against Harry Kane.”
