Arsenal legend Ray Parlour doesn’t think Unai Emery’s side are ready to challenge for the Premier League title yet.
The Gunners have won 12 and drawn three of their last 15 games in all competitions leading to many fans of the North London club predicting Emery’s side could make a push for the Premier League title.
However, the Romford Pele believes that it is still too early for for his former side to challenge for the top flight crown and he believes a top four finish would be a excellent achievement for Emery in his first season at Arsenal – considering the Gunners missed out on Champions League qualification during the last two campaign.
“I think the title is a bit too early for them this year. It can be done. Everyone knows that if you can keep going, and have that bit of luck along the way.’’ Parlour told talkSport.
“Who would have thought Leicester would win it? That gives everyone hope in the Premier League that someone like Leicester can win the title.
“Realistically, if I was looking from the outside, top four position would be a really good season, a fantastic season in fact.
“You’ve been out of the Champions League for two years now, that’s their next option to get back in there.
“If they can do that, whatever route that is, whether it’s top four or winning the Europa League, that’s a really, really successful season.”
Arsenal face newly promoted Wolves at the Emirates on Sunday afternoon.
