Arsenal goalkeeper Bernd Leno remains confident that he made the right decision to join the Gunners earlier this summer.
Germany international Leno moved to the Emirates from Bundesliga side Bayer Leverkusen for £22 million in June and the highly-rated 26-year-old was widely expected to take over from experienced shot-stopper Petr Cech as the North London clubs number one.
However, new Arsenal manager has chosen to stick with former Chelsea ‘keeper Cech for his sides opening three Premier League games, leading many to question if Leno made the right decision in joining the Gunners.
Leno though remains optimistic that his chance to stake his claim at Arsenal will come eventually.
“I am convinced that my change was the right decision,” Leno told Bild.
“I’m not crazy. It may take a few weeks or months, but my time here will come.”
Arsenal will face Cardiff City away in their next Premier League fixture next Sunday.
