Arsenal right-back Hector Bellerin reckons it was just a matter of time before the Gunners recorded their first win under new coach Unai Emery.
The North London club were handed a difficult start to their Premier League campaign and fell to losses to Manchester City and Chelsea in their opening two games.
However, Arsenal secured their first three points of the Emery era yesterday when they defeated London rivals West Ham 3-1 at the Emirates, with Bellerin insistent that him and his team-mates knew their maiden victory of the season would not be long in coming.
“I wouldn’t describe it as relief,” Bellerin told Arsenal Media.
“We’ve been working hard now for the last two months, so we knew it was just a question of time.
“We had two tough games to start after lots of changes at the club. We knew it was a question of time, a question of scoring the chances that we had.”
