Arsenal crowned Premier League champions as Man City held by Bournemouth

Arsenal have won the Premier League title for the 2025/26 season after Manchester City failed to beat Bournemouth on Tuesday night.

Second-placed City were held to a 1-1 draw at Dean Court, leaving them four points behind the Gunners with one game remaining.

Pep Guardiola’s side needed to win both of their final two games of the season and hope Arsenal dropped points against Crystal Palace this Sunday to have any hope of claiming the title.

But their task was made all the more difficult thanks to a first-half finish from Eli Junior Kroupi. David Brooks almost doubled their lead late on when he hit the post.

Erling Haaland gave City brief hope of staging a comeback victory when he equalised in stoppage time, but they ran out of time.
