Arsenal have won the Premier League title for the 2025/26 season after Manchester City failed to beat Bournemouth on Tuesday night.
Second-placed City were held to a 1-1 draw at Dean Court, leaving them four points behind the Gunners with one game remaining.
Pep Guardiola’s side needed to win both of their final two games of the season and hope Arsenal dropped points against Crystal Palace this Sunday to have any hope of claiming the title.
But their task was made all the more difficult thanks to a first-half finish from Eli Junior Kroupi. David Brooks almost doubled their lead late on when he hit the post.
Erling Haaland gave City brief hope of staging a comeback victory when he equalised in stoppage time, but they ultimately ran out road.

Arsenal are Premier League champions for the fourth time, topping the table for the first time in 22 years. It is also their 14th top-flight title overall, the third most by an English side.
Mikel Arteta is the 13th different manager to win the trophy and the first to win it with Arsenal since Arsene Wenger guided the Invincibles to glory in 2004.

After finishing second for the last three successive years, the north London outfit go into their final match of the season against Crystal Palace safe in the knowledge that the title has been secured. Captain Martin Odegaard will lift the trophy after Sunday’s game at Selhurst Park.
Bournemouth, meanwhile, are now guaranteed to play European football next season as they cannot finish below seventh place. They still have a slim chance of qualifying for the UEFA Champions League, but only if they beat Nottingham Forest and Liverpool lose to Brentford with a seven-goal swing or Aston Villa finish fifth and win the UEFA Europa League.
