Arsenal agree deal with Celtic for Kieran Tierney

Arsenal have finally agreed a fee for Celtic left-back Kieran Tierney.

The Gunners have been chasing the Scotland international for a number of weeks, seeing several bids rejected to date.

But with less than 24 hours to go until the Premier League‘s transfer deadline comes to pass, the BBC are reporting that the North London club have finally met Celtic‘s ยฃ25 million asking price.

They have already seen a bid totalling ยฃ25m knocked back, with the Scottish champions unhappy with the structure of the deal, as Arsenal attempted to spread their costs.

It now seems as though they have put their hands in the pockets to sign their prime target at left-back, who will now travel to the English capital to complete a medical and finalise a deal.

Unai Emery is also keen to add a centre-back to his ranks before Thursday’s 5pm deadline, and have been linked with the likes of Dayot Upamecano, Daniele Rugani, and David Luiz, with the Chelsea defender apparently keen on a move across London.
