Antony has paid farewell to Real Betis as the club’s loan deal with Man Utd comes to an end.
The Brazilian winger made his mark on the team and La Liga following his January move, registering five goals and two assists in 17 top-flight appearances. He was influential in the side’s run to the Uefa Conference League final, producing four goals and three assists before losing to Chelsea in the final.
Betis are keen to hold onto Antony, while Atletico Madrid, Juventus and Villareal have all been linked with a move for the 25-year-old.

The former Ajax attacker earlier this week said he was “very happy” at the Seville outfit, but his message suggests his future may lie elsewhere.
“Today is the day to thank one of the most beautiful chapters of my life,” he said in a video posted on Instagram.
“From the first step into this club, I felt something different. It was like coming home, like finding a piece of myself that I thought I had lost. With you, I started to smile again.
“Thank you for welcoming me as one of your own. Thank you for giving me back the joy of playing football.
“And thank you for reminding me why I fell in love with the game. My home, my people, thank you so much.”
Whether he stays at Man Utd or not remains to be seen, although the club may decide to cut their losses on a player who cost them a €95 million (£82m) transfer in 2022.
