Brighton have set an asking price of around £60m for Alexis Mac Allister this summer, with Chelsea, Manchester United and Liverpool competing to sign the midfielder.
Mac Allister is expected to leave Brighton this summer in search of a new challenge and a host of Premier League rivals are interested in a deal to sign the 24-year-old.
Mac Allister’s father, Carlos, this week said it was ‘most likely’ the midfielder would move clubs this summer and Brighton are braced for interest.
Football Insider are reporting that the Seagulls have set their asking price at between £60m-£70m for Mac Allister, who has scored ten goals in all competitions for Roberto De Zerbi’s side this season.
His profile has increased since a starring role in Argentina’s World Cup success, where he started six of La Albiceleste’s seven fixtures in Qatar.
Liverpool are understood to have made Mac Allister a top target following the club’s decision to withdraw their interest in Borussia Dortmund’s Jude Bellingham, as Jurgen Klopp plans a rebuild of his midfield this summer.
However, Brighton are in a strong negotiating position after Mac Allister signed a new deal in October, contracting him to the Amex Stadium until 2025.
