Al-Hilal have opened talks over a move for Everton forward Iliman Ndiaye as the Saudi Pro League side continue their summer recruitment following the signing of Crysencio Summerville.
Fabrizio Romano reports that negotiations are at an early stage, with the Senegal international emerging as one of Al-Hilal’s priority attacking targets. The 26-year-old is understood to be high on the club’s shortlist as Simone Inzaghi looks to strengthen his options ahead of the new season.
The report adds that Ndiaye’s representatives are open to initial discussions, although any transfer will ultimately depend on Everton’s stance. No formal approach has yet been made to the Merseyside club, who remain keen to keep one of their most influential attacking players.

Ndiaye enjoyed another productive campaign at the Merseyside club, scoring six Premier League goals and providing three assists in 32 appearances before representing Senegal at the 2026 World Cup. He remains under contract until 2029, placing Everton in a strong negotiating position should Al-Hilal decide to formalise their interest.

David Moyes’ side are also understood to be working on a new contract for the former Marseille and Sheffield United forward, underlining their desire to retain him despite growing interest from abroad. Everton have no immediate financial pressure to sell, meaning any offer from Saudi Arabia would likely need to reflect Ndiaye’s importance to the squad.
Al-Hilal have already demonstrated their spending power this summer by completing the high-profile signing of Summerville and are now looking to add another wide attacker. Ndiaye fits the profile of player they are seeking, but discussions remain in their infancy and there is no agreement between the clubs at this stage.
With Everton hoping to build on last season under Moyes, they are unlikely to entertain a sale unless presented with an exceptional proposal.
