Everton miss out, as Euro 2016 star agrees Valencia move

Everton have appeared to have missed out on one of their main transfer targets this summer Portuguese winger Nani agrees to join La Liga club, Valencia.

The former Manchester United winger had been linked with a return to the Premier League this summer, but according to reports, has chosen against it after agreeing terms with the Spanish club.

It is thought that the Portugal winger has a £6.5million release clause in his contract with Feneebahce, with whom he joined last summer after being deemed surplus to requirements by former Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal.

Nani, who has scored two goals at Euro 2016 so far, will finalise the deal after Portugals involvement in the tournament has come to a conclusion. They play Poland in Thursday quarter final.
