Chelsea have set an asking price of €25m (£21.9m) for Axel Disasi amid interest in the defender from teams in England and Europe.
Disasi has been training with the club’s u-23 side this season after failing to secure a move away in the summer. The Frenchman spent the second half of the 2024/25 campaign on loan at Aston Villa, after falling out of favour at Stamford Bridge.
According to journalist Ekrem Konur, as many as nine teams are weighing up a mid-season move for the defender. Among them include Premier League rivals West Ham United, Bournemouth and Crystal Palace.
Bournemouth were linked with Disasi in the summer, while Palace are considering potential replacements for Marc Guehi.
Disasi was this week pictured training with the Chelsea first team, but head coach Enzo Maresca has underlined he does not figure in his plans.
Speaking ahead of facing Burnley this weekend, Maresca said: “As I said many times that Axel and Raheem (Sterling) are Chelsea players.
“Axel is helping the second team, the younger players.
“We had five or six players here during the break, and Axel was part of some sessions with second-team players, but I think it was just one session with us.
“At the moment, he’s helping the second team, working with the second team, and is there with the second team.”
