Opta’s supercomputer has predicted who will win the 2025/26 Champions League this season with a Premier League side the favourites.
Paris Saint-Germain conquered Europe for the first time last season, but the French champions have been given just a 12.1% chance of retaining the trophy.
Luis Enrique’s side are third favourites according to Opta’s data, behind Liverpool (20.4%) and Arsenal (16%). The latter reached the semi-finals last season and are bidding to win the Champions League for the first time this season.
Manchester City (8.4%) and Barcelona (8.4%) complete the top five. Record winners Real Madrid have a win probability of just 5.8% according to Opta, while last season’s runners-up Inter Milan have been given just a 3% chance – level with Newcastle United.
According to the data, of the English sides, Tottenham Hotspur (1.1%) have the lowest chance of being crowned Champions League winners this season.
