West Ham United have put an £80m price tag on Mateus Fernandes amid interest in the midfielder from Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain.
Fernandes is set to leave West Ham following the club’s relegation from the Premier League, but the East Londoners will not allow the 21-year-old to depart on the cheap.
West Ham need to raise around £150m to balance the books after relegation with Fernandes among the club’s most saleable assets.
The midfielder was a rare positive in an otherwise disappointing campaign for the Hammers, with his performances earning Fernandes a Portugal debut in March.
Manchester United want to add Fernandes to their squad as part of a midfield rebuild, but are yet to make a formal approach.
