Zola: Hazard is one of the best in the World, but he can get even better

Gianfranco Zola has insisted that Eden Hazard can get even better, despite already being one of the best in the world.

Hazard scored a sensational goal to see Chelsea progress through to the fourth round of the Carabao Cup at the expense of fellow Premier League side Liverpool.

Speaking after the game, Chelsea legend Gianfranco Zola – who is part of Maurizio Sarri’s coaching staff – heaped praise on the Belgian forward:

“It’s a fantastic goal. Not only the beauty of it but for the time he scored it,” Zola told Sky Sports.

“Not only is he one of the best in the Premier League – if not the best – but he is one of the best in Europe and the world.

“In my opinion, we haven’t seen the best of him yet. He’s remarkable.

“It’s a big win but to be fair it was a close game. Liverpool could have won. It’s fair to say they are a brilliant team.

“Saturday will be a completely different game. I hope it is as beautiful as today.”
