Zlatan predicting ‘something special’ for Manchester United this season

Zlatan Ibrahimovic has announced that he is predicting that Manchester United could do something special this season, suggesting Jose Mourinho has something in the pipeline.

The Swedish legend spent just shy of two years as a Manchester United player, adding the League Cup and Europa League titles to his impressive trophy haul.

He brought an end to his Old Trafford career earlier this year having struggled to recover from a serious knee injury, and moved to MLS side LA Galaxy to see out the twilight days of his impressive career.

United are currently preparing for the 2018/19 Premier League campaign, and have jetted of to Los Angeles’ esteemed UCLA Training campus to build up their fitness.

Zlatan has taken the time to visit his former team-mates training camp, and speaking via Manchester United’s Instagram account, has predicted ‘something special’ from the Red Devils:

“Hi everybody, guess who’s back! I’m watching United train, I see a lot of quality – but not quality like me but it’s ok,” said Ibrahimovic.

“Great to see the guys, see them happy, see them train good, ready for this season, because something special will happen.

“I think the boss has something going on, so we keep that a secret, and enjoy! Enjoy the season and good luck and I wish you all best and happiness. And good luck.”
