Hakim Ziyech admits he is feeling ‘at home’ at Chelsea after marking his first Premier League start with a goal in the club’s impressive 3-0 victory at Burnley.
Chelsea made it four consecutive clean sheets in all competitions with a comprehensive victory over the winless Clarets at Turf Moor, Ziyech breaking the deadlock with his second goal in a matter of days after opening his account for the club during Wednesday night’s Champions League win at Krasnodar.
Kurt Zouma doubled the advantage after heading home Mason Mount’s corner, before Timo Werner sealed the victory with a composed finish after being played through on goal by the creative Ziyech.
Chelsea rise to fourth in the Premier League after maintaining their strong recent form under Frank Lampard, and summer signing Ziyech spoke of his delight after seeing the west Londoners secure a precious three points after a returning from a midweek trip to Russia.
“Especially after European games it’s always difficult.” Ziyech told BBC Sport.
”I think we had a good game, started well and didn’t really have problems at all. Burnley had one chance at the beginning, but after that we controlled the game.
“It’s been a good week for me. Hopefully we can continue. I feel good and feel at home. Everything is fine.
“You need to play with confidence and not be afraid to make mistakes. Otherwise it won’t go how it’s supposed to go. Every week we make steps. Let’s keep it that way.”
