West Ham United attacker Andriy Yarmolenko has revealed that the Hammers are aiming to play a brand of football that both the clubs players and fans will enjoy.
Manuel Pellegrini’s side got their season off to a pretty disastrous start losing their opening four games, but have impressed recently with wins over Everton and Manchester United, as well as earning a point against high flying Chelsea.
After being rooted to the bottom of the table just a few weeks ago, Yarmolenko was quick to point out that him and his teammates are not getting too carried away just yet.
“I don’t want to look too far ahead and want to say we’re going to win the title! We need to take things step by step and think about the next match.’’ He told whufc.com.
“Obviously, everyone wants to set the highest possible targets for themselves but, as we say in Ukraine, we don’t want to be running ahead of the train!
“We want to play good football that both the fans and the players will enjoy. If we do that, then we will get the place we deserve at the end of the season.”
West Ham will face Brighton on Friday in the Premier League.
