Chelsea winger Kenedy is close to completing a loan move to Newcastle after he was spotted in the City on Monday night.
He was spotted leaving Newcastle’s central train station after having got the train from London after Antonio Conte gave the deal the green light.
The Brazilian is set to join the Magpies on a six month loan deal where it is hoped he can bring more creativity and goals to Rafa Benitez’s struggling side. The Spanish boss was interested in bring Kenedy in during the summer transfer window, but were unable to get a deal done
The 21-year-old was forced to apologise to the 1.5bn people of China after making distasteful comments regarding their culture during a pre-season tour of the country.
Meanwhile, Newcastle are also looking to sign a striker, with Everton outcast Sandro Ramírez claimed to be a loan target.
Chelsea meanwhile will replace Kenedy with Italian full back Emerson Palmieri, who is set to move from Roma to Stamford Bridge alongside former Man City striker Edin Dzeko, who is wanted by Antonio Conte to strengthen his own attacking options.
