Jack Wilshere is being lined up for a potential move to La Liga in a free transfer at the end of the season according to reports today.
The England international is in the final year of his contract at the Emirates and has yet to be offered a new deal by Arsene Wenger following his long string of injuries.
The midfielder was sent on loan to Premier League newcomers Bournemouth last season, making 27 appearances for the Cherries, the highest number of appearances since the 2013/14 season. However, his season was once again cut short after suffering a fractured leg, which kept him out of action until the early part of this season. He is now back to full fitness and has made six appearances, putting in some impressive displays for the Gunners.
According to The Sun, Spanish side Real Betis are hoping to strike a deal with the 25-year-old with a view to signing him on a free transfer next summer.
Arsene Wenger is hopeful is hopeful that the Arsenal youth product will stay at the club beyond the summer, although the player himself is open to a move abroad for a fresh challenge.
