Dean Huijsen’s release clause at Bournemouth does not need to be paid in full, offering encouragement to his suitors.
Huijsen can leave Bournemouth for a fee of £50m this summer and has attracted notable interest. Liverpool and Chelsea are leading the chase for the centre-back, while Tottenham Hotspur, Arsenal and Newcastle United have all made contact with the player’s camp. Bayern Munich also expressed interest in January and remain keen.
🚨 Dean Huijsen has not decided his next club yet as £50m release clause will surely be triggered.

Huijsen is yet to make a decision on his future but it is expected that he will depart. The 20-year-old has had an excellent debut season at Bournemouth and made his Spain debut during March’s international break.
Sky Germany have now revealed the details of Huijsen’s release clause. The £50m fee can be paid in three instalments (£16.6m per instalment) which should allow more room for club’s running close to Premier League Profit and Sustainability (PSR) rules.
All of the interested clubs are informed on the conditions of the clause, which were agreed in the contact Huijsen signed last summer.
Bournemouth are set to make a huge profit on the £12m fee paid to sign the Spanish defender from Juventus a year ago. Negotiations are ongoing between Huijsen’s representatives and several clubs.
